We recently realized that Badminton is not on the PSAL meaning its impossible for any NYC public school to have a Badminton team.
Many schools already have clubs but that isn't a team-- it doesn't opt you out of gym and it's not really considered a sport, if you get what I mean
It's a movement for Badminton to be on the PSAL and be a sport.
Currently, in NYC, only one school--Mary Louis Girl's Academy has Badminton as a team but its a Catholic School which competes in the Long Island district
In Long Island, many schools have teams and clubs for Badminton!
Please, we are trying to appeal for it~
